The Kiwi company Fastmount was established to meet the demanding requirements of the Superyacht sector. Director and boat builder Gregg Kelly saw the opportunity to develop a custom made solution and together Kelly and fellow director Ron Hanley designed the innovative fixing clip system, creating an entirely new category in the global marine industry.
The clever concealed mounting system delivers a flawless finish and perfect alignment every time. Panels can be easily removed and refitted in any sequence time after time. Increasingly, Fastmount is seen by many as an enabling system by designers and interior fit-out companies around the world.
Designed and manufactured in New Zealand, the Fastmount product range was established in 2004. Ninety five percent of their revenue is now off shore with the company’s largest markets in Europe.
Fastmount has experienced steady growth despite the global downturn, working closely with their worldwide network of distributors and listening to their customers. It sees plenty of potential globally by offering several innovations sparked from clients and distributors sharing a problem, with the company moving swiftly to design the right solution.
The Awards programme is a New Zealand Trade and Enterprise (NZTE) initiative. NZTE is the New Zealand Government’s national economic development agency.
